Held Between

Description

Oak branch, tumbleweed, metal wires
11" length × 3.5" width

Date

2026

Held Between brings together two forms shaped by movement and interruption: a fallen branch and a tumbleweed suspended in quiet tension. Removed from their natural paths, each exists between what it was and what it might have become. The work considers the space between motion and stillness, where momentum lingers after movement has ceased. The sculpture remains unresolved, held in suspension.
