Tangled Silence

Tangled Silence is constructed from English ivy removed while it was constricting a cedar tree. The work preserves the moment where unchecked growth becomes suffocation, a form of quiet violence that often goes unnoticed. By gathering the vine into a contained sphere, the piece holds tension between harm and restraint, movement and stillness, growth and consequence. The sculpture does not accuse; it pauses.
