The Moment It Stops is constructed from a tumbleweed gathered after its movement had ended. The work preserves the instant when momentum gives way to rest, a pause rarely acknowledged in objects defined by motion. By suspending the form rather than containing it, the piece holds tension between drift and grounding, freedom and interruption, passage and presence. The sculpture does not capture; it allows.
